Thank you for signing up to volunteer for Pioneer Day—our largest event of the year! Your time and enthusiasm help bring 19th-century farm life to life for hundreds of visitors.
Please read the important information below before selecting your shift:
Volunteer Check-In:
• Please arrive at the designated shift time and check in at the volunteer table located near west admissions. We have built a buffer of 15 minutes into your scheduled start time. So a 9:45 shift actually starts at 10:00. This gives you time to get familiar and a buffer if you are running late.
• You'll receive your name tag and any last-minute instructions there.
Parking:
• Volunteer parking will be in the designated grassy area behind the Realy Barn. Look for signs and a parking attendant to guide you.
What to Bring:
• Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
• Some roles may be outdoors.
Perks:
• Volunteers will receive lunch provided by the museum.
